Today marks the 12th wedding anniversary of Bud and Edna Carlson of Cantwell. The couple eloped 48 years ago today in Fort Wayne, Ind., and didn’t realize it was Leap Day until they returned to Edna’s parents home in Millington, Mich., to announce their marriage.

The studio behind ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and other popular movie franchises will become a significantly smaller version of itself. Roll the credits on New Line Cinema, the 40-year-old studio behind such iconic movie franchises as “The Lord of the Rings,” “Austin Powers” and “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
